. Basically ‘Throwing Weapons’ is a combat skill, and your proficiency in it will improve the more you do it. When you actually make a throwing attack 7 different tests are made (which are dependent on various stats and skills) and there can be up to 9 variables on each test (range, the cover your target’s in and so on).
That's scarily detailed. I wonder how many check Mythica makes when you throw a knife.

(By the way, I really like the way the Warhammer Online site updates. Every week they have a new screenshot or test animation and they talk about something related to it. What does everyone else think about their? Would you like to see something similar for Mythica?)

With regard to updates on the site, I'd honestly rather the Mythica team spend their time on the game rahter than the website. Sure, we ALL want more info, but I'd rather get it in big chunks and have the team spending their time working on the game and putting out a high-quality game faster than having them worry about what's going on the website every week and slowing the process down. If the folks from Games Workshop have managed to balance the two, bully for tham!

I believe that it's just one guy that makes a weekly update with whatever stuff he's been given and is allowed to show. We're probably talking about half an hour's work here.

Yeah, they have PR people for that sort of stuff, I really think they should have Peek of the week type of stuff, a mythica story about one of the Human Jarl's or perhaps a story off the mundane in the city or a scout report saying where the Firegiants are running rampant and what ground has been gained\lost recently or some thing to give us insight into the world, not just about the game but some fun RP stories from the world, along with a new screenshot if the storie is about a Fire Giant, or a picture from the module the storie is based on, any thing just give us some fun stories from the mythica world.
Does not have to contain any new info on the game engine or any thing.
That sort of stuff should really not be a problem to create, the Eve Online Dev's continue to make those sort of posts on the official web page after the launch of the game.
