Since I don't have a Blizzard cd-key I can't post in the blizzard forums(i play blizzard games, but at friend's houses, i don't actually own any). So anyone know when WoW beta is and where i can sign up?

u cant sign up at the moment, all we got from the dev's is "soon" i will post on this forum as soon as there is a sign up

World of Warcraft Beta delayed
Blizzard Entertainment earlier this year announced the World of Warcraft beta test would commence 4th quarter 2003. Well, things haven't gone as expected and it was announced earlier this week that the testing will begin in Early 2004 instead. Here's an official update from the guys and gals at Blizzard:

Over the past few weeks, it has become apparent that the World of Warcraft beta will not be available within the fourth quarter of 2003. The development team is currently hard at work testing the alpha version of the game, and we look forward to bringing you an outstanding beta in early 2004.

Most indications from Gencon seem to be that the WoW public beta won't be starting for at least 3 more months. If all goes well, the Mythica beta should be starting sooner than that (yay for us!) and the City of Heroes beta is currently in first stage, soon to expand.

I really want to try the CoH beta. First superhero mog? Gotta' try it for the novelty if nothing else. We can be heroes...if just for one day.

Something I posted in my guild forums on Dec 15:

"If they have the equipment now, they are probably testing installs and such in setting it up. Making sure they can duplicate installs is a key aspect. That can take a bit but once you got it configured, the integration and production systems become much easier. Of course, I have no idea how many layers they will have - at least two I can pretty much guarantee.

They will probably do some alpha invites to special people like the press and what not. Then put up the sign ups for beta. My guess is we'll see beta sign-ups start mid to late Jan, but that's just me."

January starts tomorrow so we'll see how good my guesses are. ;)
