Mead

I've only had mead once a few years ago, and it was definitely a wine that I enjoyed. That bottle was given to my family as a gift.

So now that some of you have brought up that subject, I thought I should go look for a bottle. What brand & type do you guys recommend?

I've never actually bought any, but I used to brew my own beer (I'm an industrious alcoholic) and I tried making mead. It tasted awful. I'd like to find out what real mead taste like. Perhaps I'll do a test tasting sometime soon ... ;)
