Okay, teaching hundreds of "geeks" to party isn't probably an easy thing to do, so MS had their work cut out, but sounds fun anyway. The Pacific Dragon tells us (http://www.nwdragon.com/blogger.html) about the XBox conference and more GDC info today. So first, the party. During the Xbox/MGS keynote on Wednesday, Microsoft announced a brand new flat platform initiative, called XNA. During one of the demos they had a very nicely, sexy woman being pictured, 20s/30s style.. Sam Spade type of setting.. sitting at a table hat down, cigarette in hand, with a drink sweating on the table. Well, the party was themed around that series of images. It was held at a place called the Bankers Club, and while it is currently a bit older, was obviously quite swank. Well, Microsoft made it quite swank again. Gorgeous women walking around as “cigarette sellers” (Those awful candy cigarettes, but still cool image), a few “scandalously” clad woman dancing in ribbon cages, music pumping loudly through the whole place, a martini bar, fresh rolled cigars (I had a normal one.. pretty decent, though I’ve had better ;-), and snacks. In addition, I was clued in to a nice “massage parlor” made upstairs where you could go in and get a nice 15 minute massage.. very nice way to start the night off.A fun read for sure. I like the info on the requirements for a next gen MMORPG, and want to see Fable even more after his comments on it.

Sounds like fun. It has been way too long since I have been to a swanky party. :(
