I received my copy of Computer Games Magazine today and they have an exclusive preview of Richard Garriots Tabula Rosa. This 8 page spread includes some amazing screenshots along with info on the game.
Premise
Long ago, the battle for the universe was lost. A cival war between two groups the Thrax and the Benefactors splintered the galaxy. Both have been visiting Earth, with the Thrax appearing as horned demons, while the Benefactors appear angelic. The Thrax have pretty much ignored humans as they have no power, while the Benefactors have built a "Sanctuary", a safehouse for their technology. From the Sanctuary players can take wormholes to get all over the universe, fighting on worlds that the Thrax are trying to take over....
