I did a quick google search and came across this, which I hadn't seen before.

It say's that you CAN sell items for real money, but The Agency will not support "cash shop" style purchases? They also mentions the system's similarity to that of EQII, which I don't play. It just seems odd to me they will allow for players to profit from ingame items.

I would like the game to be free with product placement, and make use of the PSN on PS3.

If any one would care to enlighten me on how "payements" of any sort will be handled I would be thankful.

The way EQ2 handles it is that there are separate servers that support an auctioning system to sell off your loot, characters and plat. I believe that they charge a small fee for every purchase through this system.

Overall it doesn't have anything to do with the final subscription type.

They haven't announced their fee structure yet. They plan to watch Free Realms and others to see how they do with the free plus pay to play.
