What shall our quests be?
A lot has been made about the mechanic of Private Realms and the dynamic and broader canvas of Playscapes. This is where the quests that are so important to Mythica take place. From reading the various interviews and Mythica background on the official site, the quests that our characters will undertake may look something like the ideas that follow:
1. There is likely to be a quest to free the Alfar refugees stranded off the coast of Jotunheim by destroying the chaos veil. 2. Allied to this quest may be one to destroy Vikti, a twisted Alfar Elder Vitki working with Sinmora. 3. There are likely to be major quests revolving around 'boss mobs' including the Midgard Serpent, the Fenris wolf, Jormungand (a serpent that lives in Midgard's oceans), and Nidhogg (a dragon that lives in Niflheim). 4. There are likely to be a series of quests to restore access to the Planes that we cannot currently reach (Alfheim, Niflheim, Hel and one other). 5. There may be a quest related to the beautiful but deceptive women of the Huldrefolk - perhaps a Jarl or other leaders has been led astray by a female Wormtongue ... err Huldrefolk. 6. There are likely to be a series of quests relating to the Fire Giants, such as battling Sinmora (Surt's wife) and destroying the means by which the Fire giants are tapping into the Tru Vel and spreading corruption. 7. A quest involving the Well of Wyrd - perhaps to do with a shortage of the salve that the norns use to protect and heal the Tree of Life (Yggdrasil) from the poison that it ingests in in Hel. 8. Retreiving an object stolen from the gods (eg. Freya's necklace Brísingamen). 9. We can safely assume that there will be many quests that will involve gaining and keeping the worship of the mortals. I'd also bet that at least a few quests will involve conversing with Ratatosk, the squirrel messenger and gossip. Finally, I wonder what Loki's part will be in all of this? After all, he betrays his fellow gods at Ragnorak. I also wonder - if Loki stands behind some of Mythica's conflict - which side the Tricksters will fight on?

Excellent work again, my friend. You still have way too much free time on your hands, though.

I think they'll have a few more gatekeeper quests to gain access to different parts of the maps. Look at the passes on the Midgard map. Lots of bottlenecks perfect for placing a gatekeeper quest to get to the other side.

Nice work again Moloch...and yeah I agree with JonnyG...I think getting into various areas by surpassing guards will be a big part of the game. Even in the GenCon pics they did that quest, and I am sure that it will fun to do too.

Yeah, it's trully likely we'll see that kinda quest... but those are likely the REAL final, most-incredible-epic-and-unbeliavable quests in the game. After all... Killing Fenris is no small job, the damned thing kills Odin himself! Along the same line of thought, Jormugandr kills thor in Ragnarok! So... You gotta agree with me, for you to kill something that kills a god, you've got to be a god yourself to even stand a chance. So... That kinda quest will likely be what's in store for those who do ascend and become gods. For us lil' Immortals (lol), I believe we'll spend more time with a bit more mundane things... Holding back giant attacks, besieging enemy fortresses, killing some dragons (Uhnn... Non-Nidhogg dragons?) (If Sigurd, a mortal, did it... An Immortal surely can, too)
